Billing and usage

JARAI bills on a subscription + token allowance model. Each AI call your productions make (text, image generation, voiceover, video composition, music…) consumes a budgeted number of tokens from your monthly allowance. This page explains tiers, allowances, and how to keep producing when you run low.

Tokens, allowance & top-ups

  1. Your tier sets a monthly token allowance (Creator / Pro / Atelier).
  2. Each AI step consumes tokens; the billing banner shows what’s left.
  3. At ~75% used (without auto-top-up) a banner prompts you to buy extra capacity.
  4. Track cost vs revenue on the Account P&L dashboard.

Token allowances

Each AI call consumes a budgeted number of tokens. Heavier steps (video composition, long voiceover) cost more than light ones (a short text generation). Your monthly allowance refreshes each billing cycle.

The usage banner

The Console shows a billing banner with your remaining allowance. When you reach about 75% of the monthly allowance with auto-top-up off, the banner prompts you to buy extra capacity so productions don’t stall mid-month.

Extra capacity (top-ups)

When you need more than your tier includes, buy extra capacity on top of the subscription. It’s added to your balance and consumed after the monthly allowance.

Budgets & limits

Accounts can carry a production budget. If an account hits its monthly limit, new productions are rejected up front with a clear “budget limit reached” message rather than partially running. Raise the budget or buy capacity to resume.

Seeing where the money goes

The Account P&L dashboard shows revenue, AI cost, and margin for an account; the Customer P&L rolls it up across a customer’s accounts. Use these to see which productions or steps are driving cost.
